The companies have tried to negotiate a deal for years and finally seem to have narrowed it down. Another complicated relationship is also discussed; Comcast Corp’s [NASDAQ:CMCSA] rumoured offer for Twenty-First Century Fox [NASDAQ:FOX] to rival that of Walt Disney’s [NYSE:DIS]. Meanwhile Comcast’s offer for Sky [LON:SKY] has been notified to the European Commission, whilst the UK government is considering the impact of Fox’s own, long-running bid for Sky. So will Disney come back with a higher bid? And how will the Mudoch family try to protect their legacy?
