Vodafone (LON: VOD) plans to select left-leads for its India unit’s USD 2bn initial public offering next week, according to four sources familiar with the situation.
The telecom major is likely to hire two or three global coordinators for the IPO, the first source said, adding that Vodafone is likely to conduct separate pitches to appoint other book-running managers later.
Citibank, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, BofA Merrill Lynch, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Edelweiss Capital, ICICI Securities are among the banks that will pitch for the left-leads, the sources said.
Vodafone did not respond to requests for comment.
